CONTRACT: PART – TIME & FULL- TIME
LOCATION: PEMBA (Residents only)
We are seeking for part -time and full-time professionals in the following positions, who will be responsible for performing various activities basing on their position in order to meet the demands of our clients.

1. Web Designer & Developer (1 Post)

  Minimum Requirements:

• Web Development Experience creating rich web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with web content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal)

Embedded programming & Java-based development is a plus

• Good communication & interpersonal skills, good customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. English is a must.
• Ability to work offsite (on customer’s premises) for short/occasional periods of time and Good problem solving abilities

2. Graphic Designer (2 Post)

Minimum Requirements:

• Formal graphic design training
• A minimum of 2 years design experience
• Excellent knowledge of common industry applications (i.e., Adobe CS4 suite PC), especially Photoshop, In design and Illustrator)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript/MySQL
• Experience working with WordPress
• Comfortable working on bilingual design projects (English and other language)

3. Cartoonist (1 Post)

Minimum Requirements:

• Five or more years of arts and drawing experience with proven project.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Swahili)
  • Ordinary level education, vocational qualification, or experience amounting to equivalent.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.

4. Editor (2 Post)

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Swahili)
• Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
• Solid experiences within 4 years in media industry as an Editor or any position.
• Must have the ability to design and animate motion graphics and incorporate them into video projects through non-linear editing and live switching.
• Ability to create pre-visualization materials that can be used in the production of video projects and operate professional video and audio recording equipment.
• To demonstrate a thorough understanding of editing theory and application.
• To deliver a product in a variety of industry standard resolutions and media formats.
• Must have a pass of English language plus Swahili, Arabic or any language in O-level or equivalent…
• Certificates in Video Production or related field. Diploma will added as advantages.

5. IT Technician/Software Developer (3 Post)

Minimum Requirements:

• Develops moderately complex software in C, C++, C#, Java, assembly language, or other selected languages.
• Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
• Creates and executes designs for small sets of new functionality as part of a Software project.
• May perform as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer for derivative software project
• Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
• Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving
• techniques
• Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers
• Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy
  • Perform other duties as necessary

6. Social Media Manager (1 Post)

Minimum Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communication skills. English is a must.
• Diploma or equivalent in Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent.
• Solid experience in Internet security
• Social Experiences in Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc
• Must be anti-political activist
